Panun Kashmir asks Centre to initiate talks with Pandits

Expressing concern over the plight of displaced Hindus, Panun Kashmir has urged the Central government to initiate a structured dialogue process with Pandits to resolve their long-pending issues.
Speaking during a meeting of workers, Panun Kashmir president Ashwani Chrungoo said Pandits had an inalienable right on the territory of Kashmir and their demand for homeland had multidimensional aspects.
“The geo-political and human rights concerns of the victims of terrorism need to be addressed by the governments on priority. We appeal to the Central government to initiate a structured dialogue process,” said Chrungoo.
Dr Rajan Kotru, a Nepal-based environmentalist, who was felicitated on the occasion, applauded the relentless work and deep commitment of Panun Kashmir to the cause of the exiled community.
Panun Kashmir national spokesperson Virender Raina said the organisation was aware of its huge duties and would espouse the ideological issues pertaining to the struggle under all circumstances.
