RSS leader Indresh Kumar said Pakistan has been fuelling stone-pelting, violence, militancy and by no parameters can be called a well-wisher of Islam and the people of Kashmir.
Pakistan, separatists and terrorists are the biggest enemies of Kashmir, Kashmiris and Kashmiriyat, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) said on Thursday, advising Islamabad to ”keep off Kashmir” and reminding it of how its “hate-India” campaign cost it dearly in the past.
Talking to the media on the sidelines of a function organised by the Bharat-Tibet Sahyog Manch in Jammu, RSS leader Indresh Kumar minced no words and asked Pakistan to mend its ways before it becomes “too little, too late” for the neighbour.
“It is better Pakistan stops hating India because hating India caused partition of Pakistan in the past. And, soon it would disintegrate because Balochistan, Mirpur, Kotli, Sindh, Muzaffarabad, Gilgit and Pashtuns are demanding freedom,” he said.
Kumar lashed out at Pakistan for all the ills plaguing Kashmir in the form of stone-pelting and insurgency.
He said Pakistan has been fuelling stone-pelting, violence, militancy and by no parameters can be called a well-wisher of Islam and the people of Kashmir.
He said if there were any enemies of Kashmir, Kashmiris and Kashmiriyat, they were Pakistan, separatists and militants.
Kumar also advised separatists and militants to read the writing on the wall.
“They should understand… 4-6 months ago, nearly six lakh people took part in the funeral of a militant. The figures were not even close to 3,000 a few days ago in another such funeral. May be they won’t get four people in the days to come because the Kashmiri people are not going to stand with them anymore,” he said.
Kumar said that following the arrest of seven separatists by the NIA in a terror funding case, a call for bandh in Kashmir was given but the Kashmiri people didn’t endorse it. “They are now defying the protest calendar,” he added.
The RSS expressed regret over state human rights panel chairman Justice Bilal Nazki’s direction to the Jammu and Kashmir government to pay Rs 10 lakh to Farooq Ahmed Dar, an alleged stone thrower.
“An anti-Kashmiri was awarded Rs 10 lakh compensation. I feel the SHRC chairman protected a killer of human rights and failed to uphold human rights. It is condemnable and a grave insult to Kashmiriyat. I ask the SHRC chairman to protect human rights and not the violators of human rights,” he said.
A day earlier, Kumar had said the arrest of seven separatists was the beginning of a decisive war against terror.
