Intense clashes broke out between youth and armed forces in some areas of Kupwara soon after afternoon prayers.
Reports said that clashes broke out in Tiker, Iqbal Market, Dar Mohalla, Malik Mohalla, and near Jamia Masjid. Protesting youth were also carrying Pakistan flags.
Clashes were on till this report was filed.

Meanwhile, District Magistrate Pulwama Thursday said strict curfew will be imposed throughout Pulwama district tomorrow (Friday).
He said, “No vehicular movement, except for medical emergencies will be allowed to move throughout the district.”
