The slain youth’s family from Padgampora Pulwama Wednesday refuted the BSF claims that someone among protesters fired upon them to which they retaliated leading to the death of 23 year old youth Bilal Ahmed Bhat.
The family members of the slain youth told CNS that Bilal was not part of the protest and was walking along the Railway Track. “Some BSF personnel were guarding the Railway Track. There was no protest going around the Railway Track but the pro-freedom slogans raised by protesters were audible near the Railway Track. Finding Bilal alone on the track, the BSF troopers pumped two bullets into his body, one in belly another in leg,” said the mourning family members.
“After killing every innocent civilian, the troopers came up with fictitious versions to save their skin. We know that inquiry is mere an eyewash and if inquiry will ever come, it will never be made to public and no trooper will be punished,” they said termed the killing of Bilal as a cold blooded murder.
Pertinently, a 23-year-old civilian Bilal Ahmed Bhat son of Abdul Ahad was killed at Malangpora village in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday after Border Security Force (BSF) men allegedly opened fire on protesters in Padgampora area. (CNS)
