Seek their help to promote Kashmir in USA
Valley’s travel trade fraternity Wednesday met Gregory A Floyd Consul at Embassy of the United States of America, and Suresh K Madan Special Consular Services Specialist at Embassy who are on a visit to Kashmir. The meeting took place at Shahnama Houseboat where the tour operators discussed Valley tourism potential with them.
Chairman Pilgrim and Leisure Tour Operators Forum G R Siah, President Travel Agents Society of Kashmir M Ibrahim Siah, former TASK President Showkat Pakhtoon, President Kashmir Hotels and Restaurant Owners Federation Javid Burza attended the meeting who apprised the embassy officials of Kashmir rich art, craft, heritage, and hospitable people besides its natural beauty.
President TASK Ibrahim Siah said they urged the officials of the embassy to help Valley travel agents in promoting Kashmir in USA.
We urged them they should give Valley agents chance to give presentation at American Society of Travel Congress even where we will give presentations of our Kashmir’s tourism potential. We will highlight Kashmir in the event. The officials assured of all possible help in promoting Kashmir,” said Siah.
