Resistance camp mustn’t be involved in dialogue: Panun Kashmir

The Panun Kashmir today asserted that separatists and extremist elements in the Valley could not be stakeholders in talks as they were responsible for the present turmoil.
Addressing a press conference, Panun Kashmir president Ashwani Chrungoo said any talks with separatist in Kashmir were tantamount to granting legitimacy to the so-called ‘azadi gang’, inciting violence against security personnel.
He emphasised that no government at the Centre was mandated to discuss the issues related to sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.
The Panun Kashmir has said that Pandits, who have been forced to live as refugees in their own country, are the first and primary stakeholders of the territory and legacy of Kashmir.
Speaking on the occasion, national spokesperson, Panun Kashmir, Virender Raina said Kashmir was an international issue had long extinguished from public discourse. He said the opinions expressed by former Secretary Generals of the United Nations from time to time that the ‘resolution on Kashmir has lost its relevance’ should serve as a clear message to the separatists.
Chairman, Panun Kashmir Political Affairs Committee, ML Raina said the ideas like autonomy, self-rule and pre-1953 position would not be acceptable to the ‘nationalist population’ of J&K. “Some political parties, by raising the issues, are fundamentally creating confusion in the minds of people. The people of Jammu and Kashmir want complete integration of the state with the rest of India,” said Raina.
