Sachin Tendulkar hails Amir Lone Valley’s special cricketer

Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has sent a Team India jersey, a bat and other souvenirs for Kashmir’s special talent Amir Lone along with blessings for his extraordinary talent.
One of the greatest batsmen ever, Sachin spared some time out of his busy schedule during the promotion of his upcoming biopic, “Sachin: A Billion Dreams”, and sent these gifts to Lone.
He uploaded a picture on his official Facebook page and a video on his website “100MB” on May 13 in which he was seen signing a bat and a jersey before sending these to Lone.
A 26-year-old youth from Bijbehara town of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, Amir Lone had lost both his arms in an accident eight years ago. After being in hospital for three years, Lone was able to restructure his life and learnt the art of playing cricket. He holds the bat with the help of his neck and shoulder and bowls with his foot.
Lone received the souvenir a few days ago. Expressing his happiness, Lone said: “I am very thankful to Sachin Tendulkar for sending me this gift. It was delivered to me by a team of ETV and it is a very big thing for me.” “Soon, I’ll meet and thank him personally,” he added.
His video was shared by former CMOmar Abdullah and many other people, including Virender Sehwag. After going through the video, Sachin developed a special affection for the cricketer.
Sachin’s love for J&K and its people is not hidden as in the past too he has been coming forward to help them.
A couple of years ago when the J&K cricket team defeated Mumbai, Sachin came to the J&K pavilion and spent an hour with the players and congratulated them. He also gave them some playing tips.
In 2014, when J&K witnessed unprecedented floods, Sachin, on the request of a BCCI member from J&K Ranjeet Kalra, had sent truckloads of relief and Rs 25 lakh cash aid.
