SHO removed over man’s death during anti-encroachment drive

Authorities have removed a Station House Officer (SHO) and decided to set up a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the death of a man in firing during an anti-encroachment drive in Samba district. “Inspector Bharat Sharma, SHO Bari Brahmana, has been shifted and attached in Jammu,” a police officer said.
