World asked to help Kashmiris attain birthrightSenior Hurriyet leader Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi has called upon the world community to help people of Kashmir attain their right to self-determination, recognized by the United Nations.

Agha Syed Hassan during his visit to the ailing Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Syed Ali Gilani at his residence in Delhi, today, said that the continued detention had badly affected the health of the octogenarian leader. He prayed for early recovery of Syed Ali Gilani who was discharged from the hospital on Saturday.

The Jamaat-e-Islami of occupied Kashmir at its Advisory Council meeting in Srinagar demanded the settlement of Kashmir dispute through implementation of UN resolutions, repeal of draconian laws and unconditional release of all illegally-detained Hurriyet leaders and activists.

Meanwhile, Tehreek-e-Hurriyet Jammu and Kashmir will hold a blood donation camp under the banner of Syed Ali Gilani Blood Bank in Pulwama on Wednesday.

Awami Ittihad Party Chairman and member of so-called Kashmir Assembly, Engineer Abdur Rasheed addressing public meetings in Srinagar said that Pakistan had always supported the plebiscite, promised by the United Nations, in the territory.

A body of a man identified as Irshad Ahmad was found in Ashthal area of Kulgam district.
