Pandits cannot return to Valley till normalcy returns - Rahul BhatBollywood actor and Kashmiri Pandit Rahul Bhat today said the community could not think of going back to the Valley unless the Army was called back and situation became normal in Kashmir.
Bhat was addressing a press conference in Jammu, where he announced that he is going to start the shooting of his film of Kashmiri Pandit boy “To hell with the heaven”.
While talking about the present situation in Kashmir for the return of Kashmiri Pandits, Bhat said, “I do not have any political agenda, but I think the community can think of going back to Kashmir only when the Army is removed and the atmosphere is safe for Kashmiri Pandits to live there.”
“We can only preserve the culture of Kashmiri Pundits with our cultural society and I am going to start my new film of Kashmiri Pandits from next month.
He said the shooting of the film would be done in the Kashmir valley and the film would focus on the life of a Kashmiri boy who was forced to migrate from his native village in Kashmir and shifted to camps in Jammu.
