In its list of this year’s 100 most influential people, the US-based magazine calls Parvez a ‘modern-day David’ who ‘had to be silenced’. Kashmiri rights activist Khurram Parvez, jailed by India since November last year on “terrorism” charges, has been named as one of the 100 most influential people of 2022 by the United States-based Time magazine.
