Clashes in South Kashmir leave dozens injured

Dozens of people have been injured in clashes with police and paramilitary forces in southern district of Jammu and Kashmir. Clashes broke out earlier today after paramilitary CRPF men allegedly thrashed pedestrians and motorists in Anantnag district. Later on, clashes spread to the entire district with angry youths pelting stones at police and CRPF. The forces responded with tear gas shelling and cane charge to disperse the protesters.
