Three Hizbul Mujahideen militants—including Ishaq Ahmad Parry alias ‘Newton’—died in an overnight gunfight with forces in Dadsara village in south Kashmir’s Tral area, triggering protests and a spontaneous shutdown. The J&K Police busted a gang of car lifters today and recovered five stolen vehicles and several engines from them.
