Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL), including Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik, Thursday called for a “mass protest rally” against the “conspiracies being hatched by the Indian state” to change the demography of the State of Jammu Kashmir.
In a joint statement, the leadership said that the Indian state is hatching conspiracies against the history, culture of Jammu and Kashmir to change its Muslim character.
“We have called for a rally on Oct 14 to protests against the anti Kashmir policies and to aware people about these dangerous designs,” they said.
The leaders have also called for Valley wide protests on Friday against the braid chopping incidents.
