Braid Chopping aimed at creating mass hysteria: Mehbooba Mufti

“Braid-chopping incidents are attempts to create mass hysteria and undermine the dignity of the women in the state,” Mehbooba tweeted today.
“The government will ensure steps are taken to find the motives behind these attacks,” she said in another tweet while posting a picture of the high-level meeting over the issue which was attended by DGP SP Vaid, Chief Secretary BB Vyas and other officials from the police and civil administration.
