BJP to review report card of party ministers in Mufti govt

BJP to review report card of party ministers in Mufti govtThe BJP high command has asked its state unit to prepare a comprehensive report card of the 10-month performance of the previous coalition government headed by Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
The Sangh Parivar will be held at New Delhi on February 10 to take a final call on government formation in J&K. The performance report will be reviewed in the much-publicised Sangh Parivar meeting.
Sources said before taking any decision on restitching the alliance with the PDP, the BJP high command would review the performance of the party’s ministers in the coalition.
“A group within the party is saying that nothing has been achieved in the 10 months of government,” a source said, adding, “the party high command has decided to get the overview of the achievements of the BJP ministers in the government to take the final decision.” The Sangh Parivar meeting will discuss the preconditions set by the erstwhile coalition partner, PDP.
Top RSS leaders from J&K and members of the core group of the state BJP will sit together with the top brass to take a decision. Sources said two senior party leaders, who were not part of the previous government, reviewed the performance of some party ministers this morning.
