As part of its efforts to strengthen the organisational set up of the party in Kashmir, the BJP today constituted a first-of-its-kind district team in the Valley.
The team was constituted for Budgam district after the BJP conducted its first-ever organisational elections in the Valley recently.
Besides a president, the team comprises two district vice-presidents, district general secretary, secretary, spokespersons, press secretary, publicity secretary and a treasurer.
“After our first-ever organisational elections, we have formed a district team of 21 office-bearers and 60 executive members. We will form such teams in all districts,” said Altaf Thakur, BJP media in charge.
