Govt appoints panel to probe illegal appointments of ReT teachers

Jammu and Kashmir government has appointed a one-man panel to probe alleged illegal appointments of Rehbar-e-Taleem (ReT) teachers in Doda district of the state. “On the recommendations of State Vigilance Commission (SVC), government has appointed Joint Director Education Jammu as inquiry officer. “He will identify all those responsible for making appointments of ReT teachers without advertisements and vacancies in Doda zone in violation of rules and initiate departmental and legal action against them,” an official spokesman of SVC said.
