BJP blames Pak for communal violence in JammuRaina was reacting to protests in Kashmir Valley on Sunday after an 18-year-old boy injured in a petrol bomb attack on a truck on October 09 died in a Delhi hospital.
“I know the incident that took place on October 9 is very unfortunate but giving a strike call is not a viable option. The accused have been arrested by the police so I don’t think there is a need to call for strike. Separatist leaders should not observe shutdown because law will take its own course,” Raina told .
He said BJP has full sympathies with the family of deceased and his party calls it very unfortunate incident that could have been avoided.
“The October 9 incident and Zahid’s death is very unfortunate, it could have been avoided but we promise immediate action against accused and justice will be delivered to the family of deceased. I on behalf of my party express grief over his death,” he added.
Responding to a query regarding growing communal violence and number of violent incidents after beef ban row, Raina said it was Pakistan who for its vested interests is creating communal violence by targeting Jammu and Kashmir.
“It is none other than Pakistan who is creating a strong atmosphere of communal violence in our state. Pakistan for its vested interests is targeting J&K and trying to create communal violence across the state between two regions,” he said.
