In what may be taken as a possible threat of Islamic State to India, a group of hardliners were on Friday seen raising ISJK flags near Jamia Masjid in Srinagar.
Following the congregational prayers on Friday afternoon, a group of people were waving pro-ISIS and LeT flags shouting slogans ‘ISJK is coming’.
It is not the first time that ISIS, LeT or pro-Pakistan flags have been seen in Srinagar. The practice has become a regular affair.
The flags have been waved at a time when India is dealing with cross-border firing and back-to-back terror attacks.
Meanwhile, Delhi Police has arrested a Mumbai-based journalist, who wanted to join the dreaded terror outfit Islamic State of Iraq and the Syria (ISIS).
As per reports, the Mumbai Police had earlier launched a manhunt for the scribe who sympathised with Yakub Memon on social media and expressed his desire to join the terror group Islamic State.
At present, the journalist is being held at the Vasant Vihar Police Station and the officials are questioning him.
