Two government school teachers, including a woman, were shot dead by unknown gunmen in Eidgah area of Srinagar. Unidentified men entered a school in Srinagar’s historical old town Eidgah on Thursday and morning and gunned down its principal and another teacher. Officials said the gunmen fired upon the duo, identified as principal Satinder Kaur from Alochibagh and Deepak Chand from Jammu, leaving them critically injured.
