In a horrific act, a woman in Anantnag district of south Kashmir killed her two children before grievously injuring herself “to teach her husband a lesson”, police claimed on Thursday. According to a police statement, Ruqiya Begam took the extreme step on January 13 in Khatti Larnoo village of Kokernag. The two children – Imran Wagay, 4 and his sister Chandni, 2 – were killed and the mother was also found injured. “After killing her children, she attempted to commit suicide with the same weapon of offence,” the statement read.…
