The Jammu and Kashmir Government has issued Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) to a non-state subject in Jammu division. The PRC has been issued by Deputy Commissioner office Jammu in 2010 to Jai Karan Singh Chib son of Ratan Singh, who is originally a resident of Nurpur area of Himachal Pradesh. Chib, according to sources, is working as constable in paramilitary force SSB and has been given employment as Himachal Pradesh resident.
