Clashes erupted between protesters and security forces in the Noorbagh area here today following the death of a youth, who succumbed to his injuries at the Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), this morning. The incident took place when the body was being taken to Eidgah cemetery for the last rites, reports said. The police lobbed teargas shells after the angry youth indulged in stone-throwing on police and CRPF personnel and their vehicles.
