Govt orders major reshuffle in administration

Government on Friday ordered a major reshuffle in middle rung bureaucracy and shifted many KAS officers.
In an order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), Mufti-M-Fareed-ud-din awaiting orders of posting in the General Administration Department has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Relief Organization (Migrants), Kashmir.
Pankaj Magotra, Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Appeals), Jammu, has been shifted as Additional Secretary General Administration Department while Pawan Singh Rathore, Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority, Poonch, has been transferred as Additional Secretary Industries and Commerce department.
As per the order Additional Deputy Commissioner, Poonch, shall hold the charge of the post of Chief Executive Officer, Poonch Development Authority, in addition to his own duties while M.D. Rather, member J&K Services Selection Board has been posted as General Manager, DIC, Baramulla, Mohammad Yousuf Mir, awaiting orders of posting in the General Administration Department has been posted as Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Srinagar, against an available vacancy.
Shubra Sharma, Deputy Excise Commissioner (Accounts), Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Relief Organization (Migrants), Jammu, T.K. Bhat, Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Vigilance and Inspections), Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary Finance Department.
The order further noted that Dara Singh Kotwal, Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Stamps), Jammu, is transferred and shall await further orders in the office of Divisional Commissioner, Jammu while Nazir Ahmad Khwaja, KAS, Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Baramulla, is transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kargil.
Moses Kunzang, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kargil, is transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Leh, Harvinder Kour, Deputy Commissioner, Relief Organization (Migrants), Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Principal, Revenue Training Institute, Jammu.
The order further read that Vipan Kumari, awaiting orders of posting in the General Administration Department, is posted as Registrar, Government College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu, Rishpal Singh, Deputy Chief Electoral Officer in the office of Chief Electoral Officer, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Director, Land Management, Jammu Development Authority, Raman Kumar Kesar, Deputy Chief Electoral Officer is re-designated as Joint Chief Electoral Officer and ex-officio Additional Secretary to the Government.
Khalid Majeed, Additional Secretary General Administration Department, is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Vigilance and Inspections), Jammu, Vishesh Pal Mahajan, Additional Secretary/Private Secretary to the Governor, is transferred and posted as Joint Director, Tourism, Jammu. Bharat Singh, Additional Secretary to the Government, Finance Department, is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Stamps), Jammu, Sham Lal, Secretary, J&K State Advisory Board for Development and Welfare of Scheduled Castes, is transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to the Government, Cooperatives Department.
Rakesh Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Leh, has been transferred and posted as Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Udhampur, Ashish Kumar Gupta, Additional Secretary in the Governor’s Secretariat, is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Appeals), Jammu, Sanjay Gupta, Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Udhampur, is transferred and shall await further orders in the office of Divisional Commissioner, Jammu.
