Monsoon arrived in Jammu and Kashmir 10 days ahead of its predicted date, which was July 1.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), on the basis of rainfall during the last 24 hours and weather system, the monsoon has hit the state.
The forecast for the next 24 hours says moderate to heavy shower to occur across the state.
