Two die in slab collapseTwo cousins were killed when an under-construction slab collapsed in the old city area this afternoon.
The police said the labourers, identified as Abdul Majeed Sheikh and Farooq Sheikh, both residents of Housing Colony, Bemina, were at an under construction site in Zaldagar when the slab collapsed around 3 pm.
Teams of police, State Disaster Rescue Force (SDRF) and fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation.
