Supreme Court to Hear Challenge to Article 370 Abrogation on July 11

The Supreme Court will take up on July 11 a batch of petitions challenging the abrogation of Article 370 and the bifurcation of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir into two Union territories. According to a notice, the five-judge constitutional bench led by Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud to take up the matter and issue procedural directions to ready the case for hearing.
