Restrictions or undeclared curfew shall remain in place in several areas of Srinagar on Friday in view of the ‘Jamia Masjid Chalo’ call given by Hurriyat Conference led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, police said on Thursday. A senior police official, who wished to remain anonymous, said areas falling under police stations Rainawari, Nowhatta, Maharaj Gunj, Safa Kadal, Kralkhud and Khanyar shall remain under restrictions. “There will be restrictions in Maisuma area of uptown Srinagar as well,” he said.
