Edu dept to seek marriage documents, PRCs to post female teachers

The Jammu and Kashmir government has ordered that female teachers would have to produce marriage documents and permanent resident certificates (PRCs) of their husbands before they are transferred to the districts where they are married. Officials said since the married women have been pressing on the Education department to post them nearer to home, the Education department has issued directive that they shall produce marriage certificates and PRCs before any pre-mature transfer is ordered.
