Nine hurt as ceiling collapses in Kashmir University

Nine students were injured when the ceiling of a classroom collapsed at the University of Kashmir this morning. Officials said 30 students were present in a classroom at the Economics Department when the ceiling collapsed, injuring nine students while others had a narrow escape. “The injured are being treated at the university health centre,” said the Public Relations Officer of the university. “We have already ordered a safety audit of all the buildings on the campus, which will be done soon,” said officials from the university, adding that the students…
