National Highway closed due to landslides

The Kashmir highway, linking the Kashmir valley with the rest of the world, was closed yet again due to landslides triggered by heavy rain during the night. “We have again suspended traffic on the 300-km-long Srinagar-Jammu national highway due to landslides, particularly between Ramban and Ramsu,” a traffic police official told Kashmir Post this morning.
