Curfew-like restrictions were imposed in Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir valley on Monday to prevent protests against the killing of two civilians in alleged firing by police and army yesterday. A police official said that restrictions were imposed in areas falling under the jurisdiction of six police stations in Srinagar. “Restrictions have been imposed in the areas of Khanyar, Rainawari, Nowhatta, M.R.Gunj, Safakadal and Maisuma,” he said.
