The roads here in Bandipora maintained by Border Roads Organization (BRO) have been severely damaged by the telecom companies leading to traffic jams and increasing the risk of mishaps. Local residents alleged that BRO has failed to take action against the telecom companies which have dug roads to lay the cables and have left them unrepaired. The residents have to pour on to the streets to protest the delay over construction of roads.
