Member dies on 40th day of NYC protest

The indefinite hunger strike by members of the All Jammu and Kashmir National Youth Corps (NYC) Association completed its 40th day on Saturday. The association said in a statement that the 40th day of its protest was marked by the death of one of its members, Raj Kumar of Kishtwar district. The state government Friday clarified that it is setting IIT and IIM in Jammu while land is being identified, measuring 200 acres, each in Jammu and Srinagar for setting up of AIIMS.
