Chairman All Parties Hurriyat Conference (G) Syed Ali Geelani Sahab revealed that the PDP and BJP have entered into a secret agreement over the issues like creation of Sanik Colony in Kashmir, permanent settlement of the west Pakistan refugees in the state and isolated colonies for the Kashmiri Pandits and Mufti Mohammad Sayeed had assured the New Delhi for his full cooperation in this regard. While addressing a seminar titled “Indo-Pak Hostilities – Causes and Solution” at Hyderpora, the pro-freedom leader announced that this dangerous plan will be resisted tooth and nail and Hurriyat Conference will start a public awareness program in this regard.
Tehreek-e-Hurriyat general secretary Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai, Hurriyat Conference general secretary Haji Ghulam Nabi Sumji, Hassan Zaingeeri and Abdul Majeed Zaegar also spoke in the said seminar while as Hurriyat spokesman Ayaz Akbar performed as dice-in-charge. Geelani Sahab in his presidential address said that the state of Jammu & Kashmir is practically ruled by the RSS and Mufti Sayeed and his party has no role in the governance, they are just being used in the implementation of the New Delhi agenda.
He said that if any conscience would have been present in Mufti Sayeed, he would have left the chair but he has nothing to do with the miseries of the people. He only knows how to protect his chair. He talks about the roads and bridges in his daily lectures but he does not utter a single word on the atrocities and cruelties meted out with the common people by the Indian forces. He was recently called to New Delhi where he had assured them in writing his cooperation in the implementation of the RSS-BJP agendas in Kashmir.
Geelani Sahab however cautioned that every attempt to change the demography of the state will be resisted tooth and nail and Kashmiri people will oppose every such move. He said that no one in Kashmir is opposed to the return of the Pandits but we will not allow separate and isolated colonies for them. This separation is not acceptable to the Pandits too. While terming the prime minister of India Mr. Narender Modi a murderer of three thousand (3,000) Muslims, Hurriyat Chairman said that the barbarism and atrocities were unleashed upon the Indian Muslims and the Kashmiri people in the Congress rule too but they were doing all this in the name of secularism while as BJP openly express their anti-Muslim feelings and they have extremely dangerous designs with regarding to the Kashmir. Geelani Sahab said that the basic and main reason of the Indo-Pak hostilities is the Kashmir issue.
India had forcibly occupied the Jammu & Kashmir and landed its forces here in contrary to the principles of partition. The unresolved Kashmir dispute is the sole responsibility of India because she is reluctant to leave its rigid and stubborn stand and is not accepting the ground realities. India has arrogance of power and wants to suppress the just and genuine voice of Kashmiri people with the help of its military might. While terming the uncontrolled flow of the non-state labors into the Jammu & Kashmir as dangerous for the economics and social life, the Hurriyat Chairman said that ‘I had cautioned about the abundant inflow of the Biharis in the valley in 2006 but some people opposed this.
Now they have occupied every profession in the state and their presence has created some serious issues. While terming the NC and PDP as the two faces of the same coin, the pro-freedom leader said that these people are responsible in strengthening the forced and illegal occupation of India in Kashmir. Congress and NC are the criminals of snatching freedom from the Kashmiris. He said that Shaikh Mohammad Abdullah provided base and space to India in Kashmir and Mufti Sayeed brought Hindutva here.
