The first heavy rain of the monsoon has exposed the quality of work done by the state Public Works Department (PWD) as many roads of Jammu city and on its periphery were washed away yesterday. Five persons have been booked for their alleged involvement in anti-India activities and indulging in “provocation” to disturb peace in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir. “(They) have been booked for provocation to disturb peace and anti-India activities in Kishtwar district during a protest,” a senior police officer said.
