Teachers’ community has decided to launch an agitation against the decision of the government to conduct screening test of in- service teachers. A day after JK Rehbar- e- Taleem ( ReT) Teachers Forum called for two- day strike from August 5, Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum ( JKTF) Tuesday announced two day strike from August 6. Teachers fume as Govt orders screening test

The State government’s decision to make screening test compulsory for Rehbar-e-Taleem teachers who have obtained their degrees through distance mode has left the teaching community seething in anger. The government is also considering similar tests for in-service General Line Teachers who have obtained their degree from distance mode.
