Two houses were damaged and six water mills washed away in flash-floods triggered by heavy rains in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. NABARD sanctions Rs 90 cr for roads in Kashmir

In a significant development, the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has sanctioned Rs 90 crore for construction of new roads and bridges in Kashmir. The amount will be released to the state government in three annual instalments—1st instalment will be 30 percent of the loan amount, 2nd will be 40 percent and 3rd will be 30 percent.
