Violent clashes erupted in Hajin town of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Friday as locals staged a demonstration against the killing of three militants in a fierce gunfight with forces last night. Earlier, forces lobbed tear gas shells to disperse the protesters, including women, marching towards the Hajin Chowk to demand the bodies of the militants.
