Hurriyat (G) rejects Govt probe, terms it a tradition post Pulwama KillingsRejecting the probe commission ordered by the government in Pulwama killings, Hurriyat (G) Wednesday said such commissions have become a tradition and is part of government policy to diffuse the public anger.

Hurriyat (G) reminded that recently during Kashmir visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a Deputy Commandant of CRPF allegedly killed an innocent engineering student Gowhar Nazir Dar at HMT Zainakote in the broad day light and the same inquiry commission was announced in that case but till now neither this probe showed any result nor any accused has been arrested.

In a statement, Hurriyat (G) spokesman Ayaz Akbar reiterated the stand of the forum that the investigation of such killings is possible if it is done by any independent institution and government does not interfere.

Terming the hue and cry of National Conference and silence of PDP over the Pulwama killings as their vote bank politics, Hurriyat (G) spokesman said whenever NC is out of power, they suddenly start to feel the pain of the people and when they are in government, 2010 like incidents happen and the party (NC) has no regret at all.

Commenting over the ‘silence’ of PDP over Pulwama killings, Hurriyat (G) spokesman said this party tried its best to ‘befool the simple Kashmiri people by raising pro-Kashmir slogans but they too have got completely exposed in the public and have shown their real face to the nation.’
