The terror attack at the Sunjuwan military base located in Jammu city and a suspected unsuccessful attack at the Army camp in Domana have the potential of putting a cascading effect on the region’s economy and tourism. Winter carnival gets underway at Patnitop

Livening up the winters in picturesque Patnitop, three day Winter Carnival got underway Sunday attracting tourists in large number. MLA Chenani Dinanath Bhagat formally inaugurated the programme. CEO Patnitop Development Authority Rakesh Sangral was also present on the occasion. Organised by the Department of Tourism and Patnitop Development Authority, three day carnival includes cultural programmes in which prominent artists from within and outside the state will perform.
