The Leh unit of the BJP has reiterated its commitment to fulfilling the long-standing demand of the people in Ladakh for granting Union Territory (UT) status to the region. A group of mountaineers have successfully completed the first-of-its-kind ‘Himalayan Traverse’ from the higher reaches of Ladakh to upper Kishtwar in the Jammu region.
