Srinagar witnessed the coldest night of the season on Wednesday with the mercury settling below the freezing point for the first time, even as the weatherman forecast a spell of wet weather this weekend. Sub-inspector, PDP worker shot dead in Pulwama

Suspected militants Sunday shot dead a police officer at a village in southern Pulwama district while he was travelling in his car, the police said.
