Four terrorists were killed on Monday morning in retaliatory fire by security forces as they attempted to attack a CRPF camp at Sumbal in Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir. The heavily armed militants tried to enter the camp of 45 Battalion CRPF at Sumbal in Bandipora at around 3.45am by opening fire at the sentry post. Two jawans were martyred after heavily armed terrorists attacked an Army convoy in Qazigund area of Anantnag district on Saturday. Normalcy returned in Kashmir valley today after three days of restrictions and strike in the aftermath of killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Sabzar Bhat in an encounter with security forces. According to the District Magistrate Srinagar, in view of the prevailing law and order situation, strict restrictions will remain imposed tomorrow on 30 May 2017 within the territorial jurisdiction of seven police stations of Srinagar district, including Khanyar, Nowhatta, Safakadal, M R Gunj, Rainawari, Kralkhud and Maisuma.
