In a tragic road accident, two people lost their lives while 16 others were injured after a bus overturned near Kalith village of Jammu in Akhnoor.
Authorities responded swiftly rushing the injured to the sub-district hospital of Akhnoor for treatment. The deceased have been identified as Kewal Kumar and V Bhagat.
Dr. Vijay of Sub-district Hospital in Akhnoor said that three of the injured were referred to Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu for further treatment while 13 were stable and undergoing treatment.
He said, “There were a total of 18 patients injured in the accident. Three of them were referred to GMC Jammu for a CT scan. We have 13 patients here who are stable. Two patience lost their lives.”
