J&K reported 1229 new covid cases and 17 deaths

Jammu and Kashmir reported 1,229 new positive cases of Covid, 837 from the Jammu division and 392 from the Kashmir province, during the past 24 hours, thus taking the total number of cases in the UT to 55,325. Seventeen deaths, nine from the Jammu province and eight from the Kashmir division, were also reported during the same period. CBI registers case against educational trust run by Lal Singh’s family

The CBI has registered a case of criminal breach of trust and corruption against a Kathua-based educational trust run by former Jammu and Kashmir minister Lal Singh’s family and certain government servants, officials said on Tuesday.
