Curfew imposed in parts of Srinagar to prevent protest march

Authorities on Friday imposed curfew in parts of Srinagar to prevent a protest march called by the separatists, officials said. “Curfew has been imposed in seven areas to maintain law and order,” the police said. Separatists have called for the march to the Jamia Mosque in the city’s Nowhatta area. Congregational Friday prayers have not been allowed inside the mosque.
