Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti will be heading key departments in Jammu and Kashmir, including Home, Planning and Tourism. On Monday, after being sworn-in as the first woman Chief Minister of J&K, Mehbooba assigned portfolios to 16 ministers in her cabinet. Six ministers of state were also assigned the charges. The departments under Mehbooba include Home, Tourism, Planning, General Administration, Information, Hospitality and Protocol, Civil Aviation, Horticulture, Ladakh Affairs, and Tribal Affairs.
