As many as 30,711 dog bite cases were reported in Srinagar during the past six years, reveals the official data. The data states that 30,711 dog bite cases were registered at an anti-rabies clinic at the SMHS hospital here from 2012-13 to up to 2017. Of these 7,000 cases were registered in 2012-13, followed by 6,041 cases in 2013-14, 4,917 cases in 2014-15, 5,100 cases in 2015-16, 5,120 cases in 2016-17 and 2,533 cases in 2017-18 up to September.
